WP Stars: water polo camp

Waterpolo Stars is the Water Polo Camp of Rome started by two great champions, Antonio Vittorioso and Alessandro Calcaterra the aim is to train young athletes and let them have fun.

THE TEAM

Antonio Vittorioso

  • Winner of one national championship with the Rome club in 1999

THE CAMP

• The aim of Waterpolo Stars is to encourage young people to improve their water polo skills through the teaching of technique and game plans by two undisputed and charismatic athletes and champions who have won several awards: Alessandro Calcaterra and Antonio Vittorioso.
The young boys will train in the water together with them and will try to emulate them (this is much better than learning theory). This way, they will be able to enrich their experience background.

WHERE AND WHEN

The camp will be held in the Salaria Sport Village , in July and in the first week of September.
The 75,000 sq. meters’ building is located along the ‘Salaria’ street, in Via S. Gaggio, 5 a few minutes from the centre of Rome but in the middle of the quiet Tiber river park.
The village is composed of recent generation sports facilities, services and green areas.
The young boys will overnight in comfortable rooms.
